Submission Guidelines for Mrs. Henderson’s Recipe Box

Submissions are open from January 5, 2023, to February 28, 2023

 

Thank you for your interest in submitting a recipe, family memory, or photo to Mrs. Henderson’s Recipe Box. As part of the book launch for the novel Henderson House, we are developing a cookbook with recipes from the novel and submissions from the public as well. The initial version of this cookbook will be digital and available as a PDF to people who pre-order the novel Henderson House by Caren Simpson McVicker.

 

Here are the submission guidelines for the project:

 

  1. Recipes, memories, and/or photos must be submitted via email to HendersonHouseNovel+Recipes@gmail.com no later than February 28, 2023. Entries received after February 28, 2023, will not be considered.

  2. The inclusion of your submission in Mrs. Henderson’s Recipe Box (the PROJECT) is solely at the discretion of the cookbook editorial team.

  3. If your submission is selected for inclusion in the PROJECT, a representative of the cookbook editorial team will contact you via email. You must complete and return an Affidavit Release Form before your entry can be included in the PROJECT. No submission will be included in the PROJECT without a signed Affidavit Release Form.

  4. The initial use of the PROJECT is as a digital cookbook “thank you” gift for pre-ordering Henderson House and entering the Henderson House Pre-Order Sweepstakes. Once the pre-order period has ended, additional uses of the PROJECT, which might include social media posts and print versions, are solely at the discretion of the cookbook editorial team.

  5. Email addresses from all submissions will be added to Caren’s email list to keep you in the loop on the PROJECT and other news related to the launch of Henderson House. You may unsubscribe if you wish.
